Thanks to Grasshopper, I will soon have the exciting opportunity to spend six months at the Children’s Cancer Institute (CCI) in Sydney. During my visit, I will join the Zero Childhood Cancer precision medicine program.

Sharing knowledge across borders is essential for progress in pediatric oncology. To make this possible, we need an optimal data infrastructure.

Do you dream of a world where every child with cancer receives the right treatment, and has a real chance at a cure? That’s the dream that drives my work.

I'm eager to close gaps in our service and maybe even discover new cancer predisposition genes in our population,  collaborate on groundbreaking research to bring precision oncology closer to home for children across the Arab region.

I am thrilled to get the opportunity to look for the potential 80% of missing genetic predisposition for childhood cancer
