Sharing knowledge across borders is essential for progress in pediatric oncology. To make this possible, we need an optimal data infrastructure.
Just imagine: what if researchers at the Prinses Máxima Centrum voor kinderoncologie could easily discover which datasets are available at Hopp Children’s Cancer Center Heidelberg (KiTZ) (Heidelberg), using DISQOVER technology? This would open the door to better and more impactful collaborations in research.
That’s my mission for the coming year — a mission made possible through Grasshopper Consortium. Thanks to this grant, I’ll be living and working in Heidelberg for four months, contributing to the development of a unique and innovative data ecosystem that directly fosters international cooperation.
