Strengthening Global Partnerships to Advance Pediatric Cancer Predisposition Service
I’m excited to join the Grasshopper Exchange Program and spend time at the Princess Máxima Center—one of the world’s leading institutions in pediatric oncology to focus on pediatric cancer predisposition.
As a pediatric oncologist at the King Hussein Cancer Center in Jordan and founder of our region’s first pediatric cancer predisposition clinic, I’m eager to close gaps in our service and maybe even discover new cancer predisposition genes in our population, collaborate on groundbreaking research to bring precision oncology closer to home for children across the Arab region.
I chose this secondment to learn cutting-edge genomics so I can bring these skills back home.
