Grasshopper invites you to join an innovative International Academic and Industrial Exchange Platform dedicated to advancing translational and clinical research in paediatric cancer.

Who can participate in the program?

Researchers, technical staff, administrative personnel, and managerial staff from both academic and non-academic sectors can participate, as long as they are involved in research and innovation activities.

What is a secondment?

A secondment is a temporary transfer of staff to another organization within the consortium to exchange knowledge, skills, and expertise.

Can I participate in multiple secondments?

In theory yes, but we want to as many participants as possible a chance to go on secondment. This depends on the number of people applying for the call.

What costs are covered by the MSCA Staff Exchange program?

Funding covers travel, accommodation, living expenses, and additional support for research and training activities.

How are the funds distributed?

The funds are provided to the coordinating organization, which then manages the distribution to ‘grasshoppers’.

What kind of training is provided?

Participants can receive training in transferable skills, such as project management, communication, and entrepreneurship, in addition to scientific and technical knowledge.

Are there reporting requirements for participants?

Yes, participants are required to submit regular progress reports and participate in evaluation activities to ensure the project’s success.

How do I acknowledge the project?

The support of the European Union through Marie Curie Actions should be acknowledged in any related publication or other media, such as presentations at conferences. All publications or any other dissemination materials such as conference paper, thesis, journal article, etc. shall include the following statement: This project is funded by the Horizon Europe / Marie Sklodowska-Curie Staff Exchange under Grant Agreement No. 101182922.
