Grasshopper exchange
Every year, 16.000 children in Europe are diagnosed with cancer. Despite advances in therapy, integrating new treatments into clinical trials remains a challenge, limiting access for children.
GRASSHOPPER builds a multidisciplinary network with the aim to accelerate new innovative therapies. By funding academic staff exchanges, we bridge the gap between research and clinical practice, ultimately improving outcomes for children with cancer.
The consortium provides financial support for secondments, travel, and education, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across Europe and beyond.
This is Grasshopper
Grasshopper is a multidisciplinary network of experts working together to bring new cancer treatments to children faster. By facilitating the exchange of academic staff between academia and industry, it bridges the gap between research and clinical application.
