aura is a pediatric oncologist at Marie Curie Children’s Emergency Hospital in Bucharest, Romania, with a strong clinical and academic focus on pediatric leukemias and lymphomas.

Through the Grasshopper Consortium, Laura will started her six months second secondment at the Prinses Máxima Centrum voor kinderoncologie in the Netherlands, where she will complete a one-year specialized training program in leukemias and lymphomas.

During her secondment, she will:
* Deepen her expertise in therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM).
* Work on measuring asparaginase activity to optimize treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
* Strengthen a collaborative project between Marie Curie Hospital and the Princess Máxima Center to establish a TDM laboratory in Bucharest.

By combining clinical training with translational research, Laura aims to bring advanced diagnostic and treatment approaches back to Romania and contribute to improved care for children with leukemia.
