Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health UCL
The UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health (GOS ICH) together with its clinical partner Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (GOSH), forms the largest concentration of children’s health research in Europe. The Institute is a department of University College London (UCL) which regularly ranks in the top 10 ranked universities globally based on research output.

At ICH, the prioritised themes in the 2019 strategy refresh were Gene and cell therapy, rare diseases (including cancer) and life course. Further strengthening of the cancer theme has been realised by the opening in July 2019 of the Zayed Centre for Research into Rare Disease in Children (ZCR), where the Anderson lab is co-located with several other UCL groups specialising in translation of T cell engineering into clinical trials.
